Help needed in setting up my new Nexus 6P Wifi connection with DLINK router?

I am from Kolkata, India. Recently I purchased a new Nexus 6P a few days back. Initially it took a little time to set up the device specially i come from the Lumia 520. Now the problem is I cannot connect it to my D Link Wifi Router. Interestingly I can see all other routers in my locality. I can even use my Lumia 520 for tethering Hotspot and connect to its internet and may be browse a little. But sadly I cannot see my D- Link router. I can see T.P Link, all my friends names etc. But not D Link. Anybody else faced the same problem and solved it eventually. Please give me som suggestions.
