Does microsoft lumia device updates?

does microsoft lumia phone have no limits of end user updates thing. Usually android devices such as samsung galaxcy have only two year update support and after two years there is no updates the device remain vulnerable and the bugs discover are left unfixed. So android is a stupid platform i want to know that microsoft does that same or they support there user by updating and fixing the bugs like they do with there windows platform almost to the infinite years
