Why Wont My headphones work on my phone?

I have a Nokia Lumia 635 and it works with other headphones just not my only apple brand headphones but the headphones also work with everything else besides my Nokia. I ve tried mostly everything I know and still don t know what to do. Some technical help would be nice. Please.
