My nokia 610 wont turn on?

My nokia Lumia 610 wont turn on, iv tried many methods like taking the battery out and putting it back in, but when I have placed the battery back in it vibrates straight away without pressing no buttons and the nokia logo comes on for a second and then goes straight off ands that as far as it goes. Is there anything I could do to stop this happening? Also I rarely use my phone its either in my pocket when I go out so people can contact me or when I m at home I don t use it its placed on the side of my bed while I sit on my laptop or on my tablet I don t understand what the problem could be any help?
