I always thought SMS was kind of silly. I have been using WhatsApp since the day I bought my first smart phone. I have never really used SMS or iMessage.
Before owning a smart phone, there was no WhatsApp, but I never used SMS. Typing on a Nokia is nearly impossible for a guy with big hands like me. Besides SMS is overrun with SPAM. I asked Verizon to disable it.
In Singapore, you have to have a phone with SMS to have a bank account. Other than that, it is kind of pointless, don't you think?
