Annoying bump in screen protector?

I have a Nokia Lumia 640 XL, i dropped it an a hour ago and there is a tiny chip in the middle of the bottom pf the screen, the screen protector was also chipped, so I just bought a new screen protector online, but then I noticed something, all screen protectors have a small bump so a tiny part of phone is exposed, this is the exact part that chipped, have a look,http://www.amazon.com/Protector-LK-Scratch-Premium-Tempered/dp/B00XZZ3B8U, most all of them are like that. Anyone know why?
