I have a windows phone (nokia 635) and my MICROSOFT ACCOUNT doesn't work?

I can't install apps/games onto my phone because it says my MA isn't 'up to date' ?

When i click on my email in settings it comes up with: Last updated recently
Your password has expired. First, change it on the web, then come back ad update it in your account on the phone.

Error code: (numbers here)

I changed my password on the web but i can't change it on my phone?
Added (1). I've also had my phone for about a year now
