Samsung Galaxy vs Apple Iphone?

I know that by this issue could erupt little war;-)
But I would like to know your opinions, I'm from November last year, the lucky owner of the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE, I bought it because it was a discount and I ended contract, I extended it for another two years.

I know that there are newer models of galaxy, but only on S3 I could afford, I'm more than happy especially compared to my previous smartphone Sony Xperja J, which is the most shitty phone I had was worse even than the Nokia 5230 (mainly because touch screen with was not working) with Symbian that I had before.

But I wanted to know your opinions on the Samsung Galaxy and iPhone from Apple, which phone do you think is better?
