What I did was cut a random usb charger laying around in my house in half and then I took that half and stripped the wires. Then I took a 6V 50mAh solar panel and soldered a diode to the red wires with the stripe facing towards the usb end. Then I soldered the black wires on the solar panel and usb directly together. When I plugged the USB into my Nokia Lumia 521 it wasn't charging. Does anybody know what I did wrong or why it isn't charging? Please answer as soon as possible.
