I smashed my phone, Help?!

I own a Nokia Lumia 625, and I smashed the screen a while back. Basically The crack goes over the front camera, so is the front camera affected, or is it just simply covered with the smashed screen? The phone still works and the camera sort of, just when I try take a picture using the front camera its a bit blurry, maybe because its covered with the crack?
So does anyone know if the camera is affected or not?
