I love my galaxy S5 and it is very useful for many things but one of the things that get me very irritated is that my camera won't focus up close. When my hand is like 8 inches away from the camera it focuses for a second then goes out of focus and gives me red circle in the middle of the screen. So I know it is capable of focusing close enough and i have messed with the settings (stabilization, macro, infinite, selective focus) and it still wont focus close. My last phone nokia lumia 920 had this app where i could manually focus my pictures before i took them with a slider bar. Sliding it up would focus on objects far away and if you slide it all the way down it would focus on objects that were really really close like 1-2 inches close. I forgot what the app was called, i really liked it though. Anybody know if there any camera apps out there that that manual focus slider bar? Are there any settings on my phone that i missed that has that option? Any tips for close up pictures? Thanks!
