Having a good camera on a smartphone is really important to me. I was using some model of Sony Xperia, which had a great camera. Then I switched to Nokia Lumia 625 because I wanted a Windows phone. I did not do my research and ended up with an awful camera - it is just the worst I've had, it came nowhere close to Sony. I know it is a lower end Nokia model, maybe that is the reason they did not bother putting in a good camera in it.
I still like the Windows platform though and would like to stick to it. Thus I am thinking of upgrading to Nokia Lumia 1020, as reviews rave about its camera. However I am cautious now - is it really that good? Has anyone here had both 625 and 1020 and can share their experience with both? As much as I like the Windows platform, I may end up migrating back to Sony because of a good camera, as I am a bit afraid of Nokia now.
