Ive tried to restore my lumia from windows 10 preview to 8.1?

ive tried to restore my lumia from windows 10 preview to 8.1 with the official nokiarestore and windowsphone restore programs. But both of them finished loading and then didnt install, dunno why. Is there other ways?
