Hi im after a good touch button mobile which has a good camera (4 or 5 Mp) and wifi. I bought a touch screen smart phone recently but its a pain to see the screen in the sunlight, on a few occasions its been a pain to make a call as i cannot see the numbers. Ive had a look at the Nokia C3 -01 but the reviews say the camera's a bit naff. Anyone have any other suggestions of any other handsets? Thanks

What do I to unlock the phone?

Hey, everyone. Sad news; my uncle passed away a month back. But anyway, that's not part of my question. I'll start on that now. My uncle had a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. However… It's locked by a 9 button puzzle key. Is there any universal unlock code like there were for Nokia phones? We need to get into the phone to see if there are any photos he may have taken. Headphones won't work in Nokia Lumia 710?

I'm not a technical person so idk what the names of things are called okay but I think the hole where you plug the headphones/earphones in has something wrong with it. When I put in my earphones in the sound is all muffled. At first I thought it was the earphones but they work in every other device. Any idea what's wrong? I'm not using the ones that came with the phone cuz they broke ageees ago but I've used others since have been fine until recently.

What is the best smartphone for under $100?

I am getting paid $170, I have a windows phone (Nokia Lumia 521) and I really do not like this phone. I had an iphone 4S and I really miss that phone a lot, I love the iPhones but for now I can't afford one.

I need a smartphone that looks really good, not to thick, not too big, that is under $100. Preferably something an iPhone user may like. I had an LG Optimus G and that phone sucked, awful camera awful interface and very bad battery life.

Oh ya I am also going through Metro PCS so I can't go with AT&T or Sprint because I don't want a contract. Its way more expensive. I am paying $55 right now. If I can get an iPhone for under $100 bucks for $55 a month please tell me how, until then I doubt that is possible:(

will hard resetting my nokia lumia 920 take away my phone service. I've been wanting to update my phone to the windows 8.1 preview for developer but i have forgotten my microsoft password. I've tried to reset my pass but it just doesn't work. So i want to know is if i hard reset my phone will it take away my phone service and how would i do would i have to take out the sim card before i start to hard reset it or not.

Will I be charged import tax for repair return?

Hi,
As Nokia don't have international repair I sent my phone to their US headquarters for repair (that's where I bought the phone).
I called them before shipping it to them to make sure that it will be alright but now Nokia are saying they won't ship it back to Ireland. But they will ship to a US address.

Now, I'm wondering if I get a friend to ship - using UPS - for me to Ireland.
Does he have to fill a forms for customs or anything?
What does he have to put on the package to avoid the import tax? I assume "Nokia repair return" should suffice. And I have proof of that.
I don't want him to go to too much trouble and I'd rather wait as I know a few that people will be going to the US for a few months and I'd have to wait longer.

Kindly awaiting advice on what my friend in the States has to do.

Is there much difference in thse two screens?

I can't decide between the Nokia 720 and Nokia 920. I have seen both in front of me and to be honest even though the 920 has 1280 x 768 331 ppi 4.5" screen and the 720 has 800 x 480 217 ppi 4.3" screen I cannot really see much difference between the two? Both have the Gorilla Corning Glass 2. Am I missing something special here?

Also, the 920 has video of 1920 x 1080 @ 30fps and the 720 has 1280 x 720 @ 30fps. Is there a big difference between these two.

Can anyone advise as I much prefer the feel of the 720.

What's the best phone for me?

So right now I have an iPod Nano and an old Sony Eriksson W595. I don't use my phone often and if I do it's just your basic calls and texts. I love my iPod and I bring it everywhere. But my iPod is slowly deterierating now and I'm thinking of getting a new phone that will replace both my iPod and my phone at once. I don't have much info on all these new phones so I come to you for help:) I'm looking for a phone that is sturdy and well built (I'm not particularly clumsy but some new phones look like glass), has easy to use call/text functions, has good and easy to use internet capabilities, and most importantly, has great abilities music-wise (Maybe I can use it with iTunes if possible, but again I have no knowledge in this area). I have about 500 songs at any time, many playlists. And of course audio quality is important. Basically, multi-media is key. I would like to be able to use any old pair of earphones aswell. Should I go for the Moto G (It seems perfect), or maybe a Nokia Lumia 525 (I prefer its looks and I like the whole "Tile" interface system) or maybe another phone altogether (Maybe even hold on for a phone that is coming out in the future). My price range would be around €200 for the phone itself, but I could stretch for more if it's worth it. Also, what Service provider would you recommend? (I'm in Cork, Ireland) Thanks for all your ideas and advice in advance:D

Cheap smartphone with Win 8 or Android 4.4?

I have no experience with smartphones so I need some opinions. My friends tell me to buy one of the Nokia Lumia phones and they look nice, they have quite good camera and they are in my price category (300 USD or so). They say that Windows 8 is supposed to run better on cheaper phones than Android does. But I've found LG L90 which has Android 4.4 and it looks good and is a bit cheaper than Lumia 820, so I was wondering if there really is such a difference in the OS.
I live in Czech Republic and the electronics here isn't exactly cheap nor is there such a wide choice of phones but I don't feel like buying it somewhere else in case something broke down. On top of that I'm not familiar with other law systems. I was thinking of looking into electronics when I go to Germany on vacation, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy electronics in another state. I don't trust new things to last more than a day over the warranty time.
