I have recently bought a Nokia Lumia 530 dual sim. The phone is fine in itself. But I am having an issue with the Wi-Fi connection.
I have a Galaxy S3 as my primary phone and I am using this as my secondary. On buying this device I connected it to my S3’s Wi-Fi hotspot via tethering and as expected it worked fine. I got the same results when I connected it to another android device of a friend.
But when I am trying to connect it (Lumia) to a Wi-Fi network (open access) at my workplace, it displays a message that “you will not be able to connect to the internet, do you still want to connect to the network?†and it connects without any access to the internet. When I connect my galaxy device to the same network, it works fine without any issues. I have tried the lumia on other Wi-Fi networks as well, but with the same result.
Can anyone help?
