I recently bought the Nokia Lumia 521 from T-Mobile for my mom, she still has a flip phone and I want to introduce her to 2014. I know I have to change her sim card since the new phone takes a micro sim. Luckily I can do that online. She has the pay as you go plan and I'm hoping I can talk her into the $40 a month plan but if not my question is can she still use just wifi or will it not let her because she has no data plan? I just want to make sure and not be surprised that it won't let her after I switch her to the new sim card.
